Part 2 - on the Tong Rocks

Photographs

As in previous years the event attracted a contingent from Holland who can be relied upon to be in the thick of the action.

Their Jeeps were well sorted and took to the rocks without to much trouble

This coil sprung CJ-7 entertained everyone on the rocks but got a little too top heavy at the very top and need a strop to keep all it wheel down.

Unless you've been there its hard to show just how steep the rocks are.

Most needed a winch to reach the top.

Once everyone had tried Kenny gave a demo run....

.........with a bit of expert spotting from event organizer Mark Askew

Kenny taking a moment to check his approach.

Mark using that age old saying - trust me....

Once down it's a sharp turn then back up 'Triple Whammy'

The approach to the beer tent needed a 4x4!

Although things didn't get much better inside!

Ok, what make of lift?
